Winnie Amoaku

Winnie Amoaku is the Business Partnership Manager of Ahievers Media.

She is a graduate from the University of York. She studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics with a focus on international development, morality and rationality. During her degree she was awarded a grant from her university to set up her own jewellery business called Kipkee. Winnie Amoaku is actively involved in international development through an international organisation which she was involved in setting up – ADYNE (African Diaspora Youth Network in Europe).

This organisation works with the UN, Council of Europe and the Pan African Youth Union to name a few. Winnie Amoaku heads up the Irish branch of ADYNE. She was on the event management team for the Church of England’s ‘Regeneration Youth Summit’ in February 2011. At university she was the student union Racial Equality officer, this involved running campaigns and representing over 13,000 students at national and campus meetings. In her spare time, she enjoys making short films, singing in gospel choirs, writing songs, dancing and keeping fit.
