Prince Akpah

Dedicated, Hardworking and Goal Oriented, 21 years old Prince Akpah is a writer, blogger, Social Entrepreneur and volunteer from Ghana.

He serves as the Coordinator and Ambassador of Hallowed Kids Foundation where he heads projects such as Children’s Republic Reality TV show, the Key Newspaper and Ghana Youth Icons Awards.

As a writer with reputation with endorsement from Dr. Frank Essien, Hon. Gifty Kusi, Abdul Hayi Moomen etc, he has publication in the Africa Union’s 50th anniversary Magazine with the article, ”Africa My Home”. International and local online journals have published his articles an inspiration he had from his post in SHS as deputy-Editor-In-Chief of Spaco News Agency. He initiated an online motivational interview which serves as a platform for young achievers and has interviewed amazing minds on the African continent with the theme: The Journey So Far and has interacted with young heroes such as; John Armah, Israella Mansu, Sara Nana Yeboah, Preye Tambou, Divine Kpe etc. He is also a contributor for Plan Youth International monthly digital newsflash.

Completing Amazing Love Schools he headed to St. Paul’s Senior High School to study General Science where he completed with distinction with the 21st position among over 300 students where he co-founded Spaco News Agency.

In 2013 he launched his pet project Be A Girl, a girls empowerment project which presents Citations to young girls who have excelled in academics and other disciplines in Ghana’s educational curriculum to mentor them. This project has awarded 200 young girls and is now Shortlisted for the World Summit Youth Awards, 2014 with endorsements from lots of influential personalities and principals in Ghana.

He blogs at the African Viewpoint Journal and and currently working on his first career development focused TV show, Career Insights TV
He was also recently selected as a young change maker to witness the launch of Mara Mentor in Ghana with the youngest billionaire in Africa, Ashish Thakkar by the President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama in a special ceremony at the presidential palace, Flagstaff House.

He also hosted his first event Christmas Entrepreneurship Seminar in Ketu South which to train fellows at home on writing of business plan to help them compete for business model competitions.

As Director of Projects at Synergy for Success, they have being able to prepare and motivate about 600 Junior High School final year students towards the final exams in Ghana and also works with Ghana Writers Awards, The Sangy Foundation and Generational Thinkers Ghana.

Prince has volunteered for Success Africa Conference, African Achievers Awards, Unilever Ghana, Diplomat 101 and the Ghana Youth Agrifair among others.
He is inspired by the achievements of young people and glad to be working with the African Achievers Awards.
